The first time I met him was in a food stall.

I set out to meet him in the usual towering church.
I was certain he will not deny anything I appeal for.

I dreamed of a nice Cinderella fairy tale come true.
I wanted him to make me smart, wise and impressive.
I longed to be presented with milky face n olive eyes.
I assured myself all this would bring you back to me.

I crossed the mushy green grass and neared the steps.
I reached the imperial hall across the soaring stair case.
I knelt with head down and hope high before the altar.
With a secure belief he would never restrain I beseeched
to endow me with the fortitude to forget and move on.

I sit in a corner of the broken nebula tower.
The floor damp and covered with uncleaned dust.

So far things have been successful, at least smooth.
There were no major failures and none that involved life.

Columbia Shuttle has changed things drastically.
A new insufferable pressure has mounted on my head.
I have been delegated with the most important of tasks.

A task of espying good substitute for the carbon-carbon material.
Now am in need of a material suited for high temperatures, thermal
shock, low coefficient of thermal expansion, less brittle but unlike the
famous carbon-carbon should have a reasonably good impact resistance.

Probably, I should suggest your heart, superior to carbon-carbon.
A heart , a material that does not melt for tears and temperature.
A heart , a material that does not give away for solicitude and shocks.

I set out on the journey to my destiny with full of hope.
The first set back rushed in few moments,still i had my hope.
Clocks churned and hours passed,yet i didnot loose my hope.
A day passed without any outcome,but with hope.
I crossed the first hurdle,relaying on my hope.
I never gave a second thought,pinning on my hope.
Even the debasement didnot bring down my hope.
I surrendered my vanity,banking on my hope.
Alas! I knew that the destination has not reached,
only when the journey ended,the journey with my hope.

Looking back i realized i had gauged only on hope.
Is it even viable to continue only with hope.
Is it possible to proceed ahead with nothing but hope.
Can i commence the next voyage to my destiny, with hope.

But, what would happen had it been false hope all along ??

I was crossing the bridge when you came across.
There was only a stranger so i never stopped.
When you gave me flowers i reminded it would wither.

I reached the banks with ignorance.
When i looked back there were helping hands.

Unfortunately i had got up late against my habits.
i walked more than a forty feet distance for a wash.
I couldn restrain my reverse geared thoughts.
Had it been my home, things would be drastically different.
Breakfast would have been on my desk.
A refreshing tea too would have arrived soon.
I would have left in my dad's car by this time.
Memories back,I decided to go ahead with the day's plan.
My nose felt the visible smell on my washed fingers.
It was the residue of my lest favourite sunday breakfast.
I wished for a miracle.

After sometime, I got into my destined bus.
Inside i noticed a woman in shabby clothes.
She also had a child held in her hips.
At first i thought they were under fed.
But my judgement proved to be very wrong.
They haven seen anything close to food for days.
Now they needed food even more than money.
I was thinking over the ways i could help them.
Suprisingly a stranger woman gave them some left meals.

Suddenly it dawned upon me.
I had always believed a flying-horse as a miracle.
The reality is, a galloping horse itself is a miracle.
i was abashed at my earlier fussed thoughts.

I looked outside through my window,
The sun was glowing brightly.
The roadside flowerbeds were glooming.
It was definitely a gleaming day.
The residual aroma was still lingering.
I was experiencing a miracle.
